You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

When I think about this passage, I can accept that the Lord is truely an awesome GOD. Whether you believe it or not, it is true that you have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light, that is why you should be singing his praises.Tonight at ARK, our young adult group, we watched "The Mission," with Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons. God's light shines on the good and the bad. Does he call us to be martyrs who do or don't fight back?
